This is how we spent our Christmas morning. Sparkling water in a private little bay with a strong breeze and soft sun rays warming us. Yet we still consider this, a white Christmas. This was the day that our friend Annetta decided to be baptised. There is no greater gift that she could give our Savior in honor of his birthday. So while we aren't surrounded by white blankets of soft snow, those dressed in white certainly made it a white Christmas, St. Lucian style.

Hi Jeralie and Scot! Robin forwarded your email so I took a look at your blog. Sounds like you've had a pretty adventurous life! I took a peek at your son's blog too. Take a look at ours if you want - kansascranes.blogspot.com.

Now that is a great picture! How special. I think I might steal this picture for our blog if that is okay for an update on your mission. :)

Unfortunately we did not get flowers. I was thinking about it but we didn't. We should have though. :) And we saw A LOT of fish and even waited for them to do the throwing of the fish but they didn't do it. Maybe next time, but they had the coolest jewlery and knick-knack stuff. It was fun. When we were there we thought of you because the last time I went was with you and Nate! We are looking forward to visiting you guys in June!

I much rather have your White Christmas, than what we have been getting in Penticton. We've had more than our share of snow this year. Now we are getting flooding at the coast with the rains and melt. WA State is a disaster with floods. The Okanagan is cut off from the coast and the east by Mud slides and avalanches. Enjoy your tropical paradise. We wish we were there! Love the blog; and your successes.
